Tanaji, widely known as TJ, grew up watching paragliders soar over the hills of Kamshet. Inspired from a young age, he took to the skies early and started paragliding in 1997, when he was just 16 years old. Today, he has over 28 years of paragliding experience.

From Mentoring Indian Army Paragliding Team to being one of India’s few accomplished Acro Pilots and Instructors, TJ has earned national recognition. He’s represented India in paragliding competitions and conducted SIV training globally.

With certifications from PAI and BHPA, his technical knowledge and teaching style have uplifted the flying community.

His mission is clear: to inspire youth with discipline, skill, and the freedom to dream through flight.

Paragliding Mantra, a 5-star-rated APPI-certified paragliding school, has played a pivotal role in transforming Kamshet, Maharashtra into a world-class paragliding destination. The school has trained more than 1,000 pilots, offering top-tier paragliding training coursesand tandem flying experiences for adventure seekers from across the globe.

Guided by visionary leader TJ, whose dedication to safety and skill development has earned him national and international recognition, Paragliding Mantra has proudly represented India in global competitions.

Among the school’s most accomplished instructors is Tanaji Takve, an APPI-certified paragliding professional with License No. 47598. He is a Master-level Paragliding Pilot, PPG Master in Paramotoring, and a certified Paratrike Instructor. Tanaji is also a Pro Tandem Pilot (validated), APPI PG Assistant Instructor, and holds advanced pilot certifications in SIV and Acro.

With decades of experience, Tanaji combines technical expertise and a passion for safety. His First Aid certification ensures that every student and tandem passenger enjoys a secure, world-class flying experience. Fluent in English and a proud Indian national, Tanaji has trained countless pilots while promoting safe flight practices both locally and internationally.

According to his verified profile on the FlyOPPI portal, Tanaji Takve (License No. 10379) holds Master status in Paragliding, is recognized as a PPG Master in Paramotoring, and is a certified Paratrike Instructor. Born on February 16, 1981, and currently residing in India, he is fluent in English and is an active member of the paragliding community. His verified FlyOPPI profile further reinforces his credibility and commitment to the sport.

TJ also serves as a valued member of the Technical Advisory Panel (PG) for the Paragliding Association of India. In this role, he contributes his extensive expertise in paragliding safety, training methodology, and technical standards to help shape the future of paragliding in India. His involvement ensures alignment with global best practices while meeting the unique needs of the Indian free-flight community.
