Meet at the Paragliding Mantra check-in near Pawna Lake. Complete registration, sign consent forms and confirm weight/health details. Crew introduction and quick Q&A.
Detailed safety briefing: harness, helmet, radio procedure, and emergency protocols. Instructor fits the harness and demonstrates launch/run drills on the ground.
Short walk or vehicle transfer to the launch site. Final weather check (wind direction, speed) and last-minute instructions.
Smooth forward launch assisted by the pilot. Instructor introduces you to the brakes and weight-shift while keeping full control — you’ll practice simple inputs in stable air.
10–15 minutes of guided practice: steering, gentle turns, and basic glider feel under instructor supervision. Pilot coaches you through radio feedback.
Controlled landing at the designated zone. Instructor gives feedback, issues a flight summary and suggests follow-up courses or SIV/workshops if desired.
